Now in my life and experiences The absolute hardest thing for me was to tell someone. When I was in my depression I wouldn't leave my room, people thought I was dead having to knock on my door to see if I was still there. But I had a had just enough courage to hit that send button on an email to my parents, probably poorly written but they were supportive enough to get me to the doctor the next day (we lived 3 hours away at the time) and get me the support I needed, I never thought I would get.
I also went to a day hospital program like Highschool you get up and get into a routine and go to a big 6 hour long group session learning all sorts of different tools to use and getting to hear story's from other people it was a really life changing experience.
